Andrea Iervolino

Andrea Iervolino

Co-Founder, President & CEO

Andrea Iervolino, who has been a producer since the age of 16, has produced, financed and distributed over 40 films. A partner and founder of a number different production companies, he is currently, the youngest and most highly regarded Italian entrepreneurs in the world of film-making.

With his Italian-Canadian origins (his mother is Canadian, his father Italian), after also having worked on different productions and co-productions with some of the country’s major film-makers and having shot no fewer than 8 films in 2011, in October of that same year he founded his own distribution company, Iervolino Entertainment S.p.A, which is now a part of the AMBI PICTURES Group, whose partners are Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi.

Andrea Iervolino has never left out his innate passion for films on powerful social issues and in this regard he is also president of the FCAI, an association that is committed to taking exposé and social commentary films into schools, something made possible thanks to the Cineschoolday initiative, for which Italian Life Senator Giulio Andreotti was a spokesperson in 2011-2012.

His production and distribution companies are currently on a strong upward roll, producing and putting together many of those films that will be screened in forthcoming movie and television seasons.

In just a short space of time Andrea Iervolino, the film producer, has succeeded in becoming one of the youngest and most highly regarded entrepreneurs in the world of entertainment.
Iervolino’s latest ventures include “Italian Style Thriller”, which comprises three feature-length films in 3D and a series consisting of eight episodes that will have as their common denominator a genre that in the seventies led to Italy becoming a worldwide point of reference, namely Horror.

It is through this project that some young Italian directors have had the opportunity to once again bring this genre of movie, which had all but disappeared, back to life in Italy, creating them using present-day directing techniques with a view to venturing once again on the international scene.

Andrea Iervolino, along with Monika Bacardi, is also a partner in AMBI PICTURES, an investment company who task is to provide financial backing for medium to high-budget international films featuring Hollywood names.

Head of Acquisitions and Domestic

Larry Greenberg, Lawrence to his friends, a former Bostonian, began his career at Showtime Networks where he clawed his way up from a lowly Film Evaluator to Vice President of Film Acquisitions. It was there that timing intervened and Greenberg was tasked with heading up the programing acquisitions for Showtime’s joint venture, Sundance Channel. While working closely with Robert Redford and Sundance Festival chief Geoffrey Gilmore, Greenberg acquired and oversaw the programming for the new channel’s first four years.

He then helped begin a noted and profitable independent film distributor, Phase 4 Films, as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions & Theatrical. There his successes included two of Robert Duvall’s more recent films as star & producer (Wild Horses, A Night in Old Mexico), the first teaming of Kiefer & Donald Sutherland (Forsaken), Stephen Frears’ Lance Armstrong biopic starring Ben Foster & Dustin Hoffman (The Program), and the noted and popular fashion doc (Valentino: The Last Emperor.)

Greenberg has produced and executive produced over a dozen films including the upcoming Jungle starring Daniel Radcliffe, Sundance Festival award winner Another Happy Day starring Ellen Barkin, Demi Moore, Thomas Haden Church & Ezra Miller, Jackie & Ryan with Katherine Heigl, and two Steven Seagal pics he’d rather not speak about.

Shortly after Phase 4 Films was acquired by Entertainment One, Greenberg joined AMBI Distribution as Head of Acquisitions & Domestic Sales & Distribution.
